—Brewing Steps—

STEP.1 Blooming
Pour in a circular motion, avoiding the paper filter. (A good rule of thumb is 1.5 to 2 times the amount of water as the weight of the grounds used.)
⏱TIME: ~0:30
STEP.2 Drip Brewing
Aiming to extract the flavors thoroughly, pour slowly and carefully, one drop at a time, targeting the center.
⏱TIME: Dark Roast: ~0:30 to 1:30
Light Roast: ~0:30 to 1:00
STEP.3 Thin Stream
Gradually increase the pour without letting the grounds settle completely.
⏱TIME: Dark Roast: ~1:30 to 2:30
Light Roast: ~1:00 to 1:50
STEP.4 Thick Stream
Maintain a state where the grounds do not sink too far but are not submerged too deeply.
⏱TIME: Dark Roast: 2:30 to 3:20
Light Roast: 1:50 to 2:30
Pro tip: Do not let all the liquid in the dripper drain out entirely at the end.◎
